St. John’s Church runs a number of groups to cater for children during the Sunday services and throughout the week.

9.15am Service: There are several groups that meet together during this service:
• Movers and Shakers: For children aged between birth to 2 and a half years
• Strong Towers: For children aged between 2 and a half to 4 years
• Mighty Warriors: For children in Reception and Year 1
• Miracle Makers: For children in Year 2, 3 and 4
• Ignite: For children in Year 5 and 6

11.00am Service

A crèche for children aged between birth to 4 years is offered during this service.

Toddler Group (Click to visit main page)

The Toddler group is a drop-in group for children of toddler age and their carers. It is primarily a social group providing a selection of activities including play, craft, music, and refreshments.

Young children play trains

Extra help is welcome, as a result of a large increase in the numbers of parents and children attending. Volunteers are needed to be part of this exciting opportunity with a rapidly growing daytime ministry for the local community.

Uniformed Groups

Rainbows is a first step into the guiding association groups for girls aged 5-7 years. The group meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 5.30-6.30pm.

Brownies is for girls from 7 -10 yrs of age. The group meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 6.00-7.30pm.

Guides is for girls aged 10-14 yrs of age. The group meets on Mondays and Thursdays 7.30-9.00pm
