PRAYER IS REQUESTED FOR

People in our fellowship who are ill but not mentioned by name in the list below.

Andrea Mason
Please continue to pray for Andrea. She requires further knee surgery to remove the scar tissue which, despite physiotherapy, continues to form. The surgery is provisionally booked for 29th September. She asks that we  pray for the surgery, and that the knee will bend and straighten to a level that enables her to return to work.

Joan Benham
Pray for Joan who has had a spell in hospital. She is now back at St Joseph’s Care Home but is not well.

June Fluck
June has returned to Bryony House Care Home after a spell in hospital following a fall. Pray that her mobility will improve and that she would be protected from further falls.

Lesley Osborn
Lesley is currently in the QE. This is the 2nd time she has been in hospital over the past month. Please pray that she will regain strength whilst continuing on renal dialysis.

Gwen Trow
Gwen is now home after a spell in hospital. Pray that she will regain strength.

Paul Beard
Please pray for Paul who is awaiting a much-needed hip replacement. Pray that he can manage the pain while he waits and that his surgery on 17th September will go well.

Sam Parker
Sam has now found work and will start work on Monday 10th September. Please pray that he will settle in well.

Simon Martin
Brian and Christine ask for further prayer for Simon and his situation.
Although in answer to prayer the Commissioners wonderfully released funding for Simon to have a rehabilitation placement, with substantially increased care hours, in the purpose built flat adjoining his current Care Home, he cannot move into it. CQC are refusing to register the flats due to their policy guidelines. Simon’s funding for extra hours is conditional on this move. The Care Home have started legal action challenging  CQC’s decision. Meanwhile Simon continues stuck with his  inadequate level of care. Please pray for the Lord’s best for Simon.

Thelma Stock
Please pray for Thelma’s sister who is currently in hospital, that her mobility will return and that she will be able to live independently again.  Pray also for Thelma as she supports her.

Elizabeth Brown (mother of Helen Van Vliet)
Helen writes: “Thank you for continuing to pray for my Mum who is much, much better, and still improving. Please continue to pray in the last little bit of her recovery – its been a long process, but she’s nearly there!”

Lorna Uden
Please continue to pray for Lorna who is still suffering from very painful blocked tear ducts. Please pray for complete healing and that she will be given the necessary treatment soon.

Elizabeth Richards
Please continue to pray for Elizabeth for restoration of vision following a recent stroke.

Sarah Ball
Sarah writes “I am thankful that I have been able to do more recently. Would you please continue to pray for increasing energy and a full recovery!”

Jean Evans (friend of Rosemary Kennedy)
Rosemary writes: “My keen Christian friend Jean Evans in Cardiff is having difficulty with the effects of Chemotherapy. She can’t go home and has to be looked after. Fortunately she has support. Please pray that some progress can be made in her treatment.”

Beryl Beavis
Beryl writes: ‘Thank you for your prayers. The pain is almost gone. Please continue to pray for complete healing of the nerves and muscles.’

Ruth Iliya Kwache
Please pray for Ruth as she is not feeling well.

Leah Sharibu
Please continue to pray for Leah Sharibu – a 16-year-old Christian girl who was kidnapped by Boko Haram and has not yet been freed because she is a Christian who has refused to deny her faith.

Christiane Neumann
Christiane would value prayer for recovery of energy and increased mobility, and that she might have no recurrence or spread of the cancer.  She is very thankful for all the prayer support.

The Moore Family
Please continue to pray for the Moore family and especially Sarah.

Asher Sinclair (2 years)
Pray for Asher, his parents David and Helen, his sister Erin, and his grandparents Will and Jo Drever. Asher has been at Great Ormond Street Hospital, is now home, but continues to need treatment.
