Gordon Hickson was a ski fanatic, who joined the army in order to pursue his favourite sport. He went through Sandhurst then went to a ski regiment. He had no time for God.

At the age of 15 he gave up on the church, and vowed that he would never go back again in his life. At Cambridge University his aims were to disprove religion and prove that Jesus was a conman.

But the unexpected happened. God spoke to him, and he surrendered his life to Jesus. Gordon became a completely different person. Despite his earlier vow, from 2005-2010 he served as Associate Minister at St Aldate’s Church, Oxford!

Today Gordon is the National Coordinator at Mahabba UK, which aims to mobilise everyday Christians to love their Muslim neighbours.
