Ian Ferguson is an ex-RAF fighter pilot. He was in the RAF for over 30 years and has many great stories to tell from those years. His story includes a near-fatal crash which brought him closer to God. He holds the RAF record for the combined lowest and fastest survivable ejection!

Ian flew Phantom FGR2 and Tornado F3 jets before retiring from the RAF as a fighter pilot instructor in 1991 to study theology at Mattersey Hall Bible College. Since then he has pastored churches in Lincolnshire and Blackburn and been an itinerant, interdenominational, speaker. He has spoken on radio and the BBC TV programme Songs of Praise, giving testimony of how Jesus spared his life by five seconds after he was forced to eject from his stricken fighter jet.

Ian is currently Chaplain to the Cornerstone Health Care Practices in Blackburn
