Update on Children’s Ministry

Ben Baker“Thank you all for your continued partnership in prayer for this important ministry at St John’s.

“As Antony shared a number of weeks ago, it is an encouragement and an answer to prayer that we have filled the acute need of a leader for Miracle Makers and that a few others came forward to join the team.

“Last Sunday (14th Sept) saw a further four people indicate an interest in exploring how they might be able to serve our children’s groups. Personally I feel greatly encouraged by this answer to prayer – that God is calling people to work in this vital part of his harvest field. Praise God that the critical pressure on this ministry has been eased!

Children's Ministry mission statement“This is not to say that there are not still needs.  I would like to echo our original call and petition, for people who can carry the vision for children’s ministry, and bring experience and skill in nurturing and discipling children.

“We would love more people who could serve regularly in the Children’s Groups, and we are praying for the right people to come forward. Particular needs remain for those who feel able to take a lead in teaching up-front across the groups.

“If you know of anybody you think would be the kind of person we are looking for, please let me know. I would love to have a conversation.

“Thanks again for all your prayers, I really value your continued prayerful support in this ministry moving forward”
