Internationals
A warm welcome to St Johns to all International Students

We at St. John's Church want to welcome you to our church and to do our best to make you feel at home among us.

Whether or not you are a Christian, you are welcome to attend the regular Sunday worship services and also other church activities during the week.

However, there are some meetings and events which are more suited to internationals students and scholars. Please read about these below...

Sunday Services

We have 3 main meetings (services) on Sundays to worship God together and to hear God's Word taught:

9.15am - Popular with young families. Creche for babies and several groups for children aged 2-14. The service ends about 10.40. (Coffee tea and cold drinks are served between services)
11am - Similar to the earlier service. Creche for babies but no children's groups. The service ends about 12.30.
6.30pm - This service is popular with students & the Under 30's but attended by others too. The service ends about 8.15pm.

You can see the calendar on our website for what services are coming up soon

InterFriendship

Come and join us for some relaxation and FUN. We meet several times through the year for food and friendship.

All internationals are welcome. Children very welcome.
Students - this is a time and place where you can escape from your books and escape from the stress.

We'd love to meet you so pick up a flyer from the International Welcome Desk.

If you are interested in international ministry we'd also love to meet you.

You can collect more information from the term card on the information desk in church, or contact Harvey.

Wednesdays: Fellowship Groups

Some of the mid-week home groups at St. John's (called C groups) have a mix of church members and international students.

These provide an opportunity for Christian international students to meet in a small group for fellowship, bible study and prayer.

The groups normally meet from 8pm - 10pm on Wednesday evenings. Transport can often be provided.

If you would like to join a mid-week small group please contact Antony.

Tuesdays

Exploring Christianity

We run a series of short courses from 6 to 8 weeks in length for international students who would like to find out more about the Bible, Jesus Christ, and the Christian faith. No previous knowledge is required and the meetings are relaxed and informal with time and opportunity to ask questions.
Our courses run on Tuesday evenings. Transport is available after the meetings for students going back home.

For more information please contact Ron
