This is a club run by St John’s Church for local youth from school years 8-11 and is held at the sports centre at the Blue Coat School on most Friday evenings during term time. As well as those we have a variety of sports each week including football, basketball, a tuck shop, Wii and other games.
Subs are £1.50 each week, and a consent form MUST be signed by parents before attendance is allowed. The club is for members only, to ensure adequate leader ratios and to make sure everyone enjoys themselves; this means that you aren’t able to bring any visitors. If you do have a friend who would like to join then let us know and we will put them on the waiting list. To maintain your membership you must attend at least twice a half term. If there are special circumstances, please let us know.
We also stop for a ‘half-time’ talk, where we aim to talk about issues facing young people today, with a special focus on what the Bible has to say. We are unapologetically Christian, and aim to place our faith at the core of our club.
We would like club to be a safe welcoming place, where everyone can enjoy themselves. To that end, here are our rules and guidelines which should ensure safety and fairness for all!
