We at St. John’s Church want to welcome you to our church and to do our best to make you feel at home among us.
Whether or not you are a Christian, you are welcome to attend the regular Sunday worship services and also other church activities during the week.
However, there are some meetings and events which are more suited to internationals students and scholars. Please read about these below…
Fellowship Groups (Wednesdays & Thursdays)
St John’s mid-week home groups are called C groups. Some have a mix of British and internationals. These provide an opportunity for Christians to meet together in a home for fellowship, bible study and prayer.
The groups normally meet from 8pm – 10pm on Wednesday or Thursday evenings. Transport can often be provided. If you would like to join a mid-week small group please contact the church office or Antony Spencer.
Globe Cafe (Mondays)
A place to relax, make friends and enjoy English conversation. Run by teams of volunteers from several local churches.
Monday Evenings, 8pm to 10pm at Priorsfield, Edgbaston Park Road (G18 on University of Birmingham Campus maps)

Everyday conversational English and a discussion using Bible texts
Thursday 5pm – 7pm, St Francis Hall, Edgbaston Park Road in term time

CAMEO for international women (Thursdays)
(Come And Meet Each Other) Thursdays 10-11.30am in term time. Activities and Bible Study on alternate weeks.
Venue: St John’s Church, High Street Harborne.

For international women. Fridays 1pm-3pm. Lunch and informal bible study.
