After 10 years of Carols in the City in its previous format, Carols in the City as a big city centre outdoor carol service is not happening this year. This partly reflects the change in location for the event from the heart of the German Christmas Market to the Cathedral Square.

This Saturday 14th December there will be 2 smaller Carols in the City type events; one in Centenary Square in the centre of town in the new amphitheatre outside the library of Birmingham (being organised by Birmingham Christian Centre) and one in Kings Heath Village Square (being organised by Riverside Church). We are keen for both of these events to reflect the church together in our city and are aiming to form choirs for both (much of the material will be familiar to those who sung in the Carols in the City choir previously).

Do be praying for these two events celebrating Jesus birth and Carols in our city.
