Harvest thanks from Restore

Restore 2013Dear Nigel

I am writing with a huge thank you to St John’s for the bumper crop of food that you generously donated to Restore following the Harvest Festival.

Our food store has been transformed and we are back in the business of helping those at points of crisis.

Just last week even though stocks were then at a very low ebb, we were able to give a food parcel to a Burmese man, seeking sanctuary following political persecution, whose benefits had inexplicably stopped. So we could tide him over while he waited for his benefits to be re-instated.

Your harvest gifts mean that we can continue to make immediate responses when presented with urgent needs.

With thanks and best wishes
