Tim is married to Kate and serves at St Johns as Curate. Having completed training for ordination at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, Tim was ordained Curate in June 2008. Kate is currently working as Head of Business Studies & Enterprise at an 11-18 secondary school and is passionate about young people.

Before training for ordination Tim worked as a Lay Assistant at St Aldates Church, Oxford, spent three years working for The Zacharias Trust, a Christian charity engaging in evangelism using apologetics and a year working for a local secondary school.

Tim and Kate are passionate about seeing the Kingdom of God. They love evangelism and enjoy initiatives which take the church into the community and anything that makes the gospel relevant to people of all ages. They also have a passion to see God’s healing power released and as part of his role at St John’s Tim heads up the Healing on the streets ministry.

Tim and Kate enjoy going out, visiting friends all over the country, holidays and nice food! Tim is also a sports fanatic and loves to play, watch and talk about football, especially his beloved Plymouth Argyle. He also enjoys playing snooker and golf.
