Thanks to the PAC gardening team…

A team of volunteers joined Diarmid Campbell on Saturday 6th April to spend a busy three hours working in the grounds of Christ Church, Summerfield. Picture evidence of the transformation is lacking however, the emails received below tell enough of a story…

Dear Diarmid and PAC team,

We at Christ Church, especially our small but determined gardening group want to say a huge thank you to those of you who gave up a precious Saturday morning to give us a boost with our work on he Christ church grounds.

When I went in Sunday I could not believe what a difference our joint 3 hours working had made to the project. We are now even more determined to level the ground and get the project completed.

Thank you again, it was a great moral boost.

Love to all at St J’s

Dear Diarmid,

I wanted to add my thanks to those of Ansley’s to you and others from St John’s who worked hard several weeks ago, making a difference to the grounds at Summerfield. There is a rather small but dedicated group who do this work at Christ Church and help from elsewhere is a real encouragement and a boost to them.

Thanks again, and please pass my thanks on to all who came with you. The deanery in action!!

Every blessing
Pete Sainsbury
