Way In Course for Newcomers has been cancelled

MANY APOLOGIES BUT THIS COURSE HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR APRIL.

A 3-week course designed to provide an introduction to the life and community of St John’s for Christians interested in making St John’s their spiritual home; or those who want to become more involved.
Mondays 15th, 22nd and 29th April 2013 at St John’s Church

7.30pm-9.30pm for a meal, talk and discussion.

Way In takes the form of a 3-week course introducing key aspects of St John’s and meeting members of the leadership team.
It gives participants an opportunity to:
Meet new friends.
Ask questions.
Get to know what makes St John’s tick — what we’re about and how you might fit in.
Take steps to get more involved; and join a small group at the conclusion of the course.

What happens?
The evening begins at 7.15 pm with drinks for 7.30 pm when a meal is served.
There will be a varied programme including a short presentation, interviews of some of the leadership team, opportunity for questions, discussion in small groups and a tour of the Church building.
We aim to conclude the evening by 9.30 pm.

What will I need?
Just bring yourself. There is no fixed charge but there will be an opportunity to contribute towards the cost of the evening meal.

I’m interested in atending this 3-week course for new comers. But I need to bring my daughter with me during the course. She finishes the Brownie at 7:30 and needs to stay with me till the course finish at 9:30, for we have no adult available at home to look after her while I am away.
