Bake and Pray Feedback!

Various people have emailed Jude to tell her about their experiences of delivering cakes:

One person said:  “I bought a Dundee cake for the ‘fish man’. I didn’t have time to make one as I wanted to deliver it on Tuesday. He was very pleased and said it was his first Christmas card and present this year.  I did make two cakes, one for those I worked with and one for PDSA ladies. That was received with real delight.

“The comment was ‘you do this every year’ – meaning St John’s.  She asked if I had made it as obviously they had enjoyed home made ones in the past. She assured me she liked icing etc and was looking forward to having a slice with a cup of tea. So very successful.”

Another person said:  “I took our cake into England’s on Tuesday. They were so lovely and very grateful, just hope they liked it!  The manager gave me a donation for church as a ‘thank you for the many years people have been bringing in goodies’.”

The Settlement Shop have sent a card to the Church Office to thank us for the lovely cake.
