St John’s Carol Services – 16th December

Good News – Great Joy – For All People

St John’s Carol Services on Sunday 16th December at 5pm or 7.30pm

These two services are identical to allow for more people to attend and for you to invite as many friends, family and neighbours as you can.  Please invite them all along.

This is a traditional Carol Service with a modern twist with speaker James Lawrence of CPAS.
Tim Meathrel will be leading the service and there will be contributions from St John’s Carol Service Choir and Orchestra under the direction of our Worship Pastor, Marcus Pagnam.

The Carol Service Choir is led by Jac White and the choir will be singing two special arrangements during the services including Personent Hodie, plus leading the usual carols for all the congregation.

The Carol Service Orchestra is led by Martin Horder and and Sarah Mondon.  They will be playing  Bach’s Pastoral Symphony, a special arrangement of The Splendour of the King,  and two carols.

John Cheel is on the organ; the worship band is led by Mark Poyner; there is a film clip featuring Charles Spurgeon from 1854; and much more!

For more information contact Marcus or Tim.
