Twotoo Scarves and the Soup Run

Update from Linda on 6th December:

“There was a great response between morning services on 2nd December with many previous Twotoo customers pleased to see the lovely new range of fashion scarves, which make fantastic Christmas presents or a treat for yourself, whilst knowing a second fleece scarf has been given to a homeless person.

“Most of the remaining scarves went after the evening service, with others taking leaflets to make their choices on line.  So St Johns members have kindly covered the cost of all the fleece scarves we handed out a couple of weeks ago at the soup run for homeless individuals in the city centre. Thank you to all! And if anyone missed out, please order directly via www.twotoo.co.uk.”

News about Twotoo from Linda Baillie:

“Do you remember Steve and Barbara Bamford and their Twotoo scarf charity? The idea is you buy a scarf for yourself or as a present (ideal time for Christmas) and the charity donates the equivalent number of fleece scarves to homeless people.

“Well, Steve kindly sent our Soup-run group 30 fleece scarves to give out recently in the city centre, in advance of us selling any of the fashion scarves which effectively pays for them. The cold nights meant they were hugely popular, with them all going within a few minutes. So now I need to sell some fashion scarves!

“We will be selling these after the 9.15am and 6.30pm services on 2nd December.”

Speak to Linda Baillie for more details, or go to the Twotoo website.
