Many people are looking for a mentoring relationship, and this day helps churches to set up a church-based mentoring network by:

  • Exploring why mentoring is needed.
  • Clarifying what Christian mentoring is.
  • Identifying core skills for mentoring and offering some practice using exercises from Mentoring Matters.
  • Explaining how the Mentoring Matters resource could be used further to identify, equip and resource mentors in their church.

Suitable for ministers, PCC members, elders, Readers, youth leaders, and anyone else who might be interested in setting up a mentoring scheme.

If as a member of St John’s you would like to come to this event & would be willing to help with refreshments during the day, there are a number of free places available. Please contact Ruth Hassall by email or in the church office on 0121 427 4601
