Women’s Breakfast – Saturday 23 March

This March, St John’s Women’s Ministry are hosting another wonderful ‘Saturday Breakfast’, where we will be welcoming Amanda Featherstone, who will be speaking on ‘In His footsteps: growing as a disciple of Jesus’. Amanda is the Vicar of St Luke’s in the City Centre. Before she was ordained Amanda was a Speech and Language Therapist and lectured for 10 years at Birmingham City University and loved training and inspiring people to become Speech Therapists. Amanda did her curacy at St Michael’s in Boldmere (Sutton Coldfield). St Luke’s and the Lee Bank area is a very different setting with a mix of city dwellings and social housing. She loves ministry in the inner city and the joy and challenge of sharing the love of God and Good News of Jesus in this setting. Amanda loves the outdoors and particularly enjoys going out walking. She also loves travel and experiencing new cultures,  baking and spending time with friends over meals. In April 2018 Amanda married Paul (former member of St John’s)!
