Men’s Breakfast – Saturday 7 July

Come along to one of our Men’s Breakfasts, a great place to get to know other people, enjoy great food and hear from our visiting speaker. This July we will be welcoming Phil Hemsley.

Phil is a chartered engineer working in the power industry designing steam turbines. He was an atheist/agnostic for 40 years but became a Christian in 2001 because of the ‘compelling evidence’. He thought science had disproved God, and religion was a delusion, a crutch for weak people. But slowly and unexpectedly he changed his mind. Hear Phil talk about how his understanding of science has underpinned his faith.
