PRAYER IS REQUESTED FOR

People in our fellowship who are ill but not mentioned by name in the list below.

Edgbaston Old Church
Marcus writes: “Every 3rd Sunday a team of musicians from St John’s visits Edgbaston Old Church for their evening service ‘Barts at 6’. We have been supporting them in this way for nearly 2 years now and have seen the congregation grow at a steady but significant rate. Please pray that we will bless the congregation at Edgbaston Old Church and that they would know God’s blessing and leading as they seek to grow this congregation.”

Anna Hilton and Ellen Brunet
Please pray for Anna and Ellen, fourth year medical students who are on elective in Uganda 7th May-26th June. Please pray for safety and good health as well as a new experience of medicine in a different culture.

Isaac Williams
Please pray for Isaac Williams who was born prematurely and is in the neonatal ward at Birmingham Women’s Hopital. Please pray for his parents Peter and Katherine and his 20-month-old older brother, Joshua. Doctors are pleased with his progress, but as with all cases of premature birth, there are many things to pray for.

John Vale (Grandfather of Michelle Bishop)
Michelle is still very concerned for her Grandfather’s health as he is still losing weight and he is now in hospital with low oxygen levels. She is thankful for your prayers and asks that we continue to pray. Please also pray for peace for Michelle and her family.

Andrea Mason
We give thanks that Andrea’s knee surgery went well although an episode of cellulitis meant her stay was slightly longer than planned. Please continue to pray for good progress on the recovery trail.

Joy Allan
Joy would appreciate continued prayer for her Mum who is unwell, though getting better, and for her Dad as he supports his wife.

Leah Sharibu
Please pray for Leah Sharibu – a 16-year-old Christian girl who was kidnapped by Boko Haram and has not yet been freed because she is a Christian and has refused to deny her faith.

Jean Evans (friend of Rosemary Kennedy)
Rosemary writes: “Jean Evans is presently in recovery from cancer treatment and thanks St John’s for their prayers”

Lorna Uden
Please continue to pray for Lorna following the loss of her mother. Lorna is also suffering from very painful blocked tear ducts, pray for complete healing.

Sam Parker
Praise God that Sam’s symptoms have been improving and that after good results from the scans, he will be monitored from afar. Pray that his symptoms will disappear.

Elizabeth Brown (mother of Helen Van Vliet)
Helen writes: “Thanks for continuing to pray for my Mum. She has recovered 80-90% of her capacity, which is truly wonderful. I would love to continue to pray for the remaining 10-20%.”

Beryl Beavis
Beryl writes: ‘Thank you for your prayers. The pain is almost gone. Please continue to pray for complete healing of the nerves and muscles.’

Sarah Ball
Sarah is thankful for lots of help recently, allowing her to recuperate slowly from a recent long virus. She is still having ongoing ME issues, so would really appreciate continued prayer for healing.

Christiane Neumann
Christiane would value prayer for recovery of energy and increased mobility, and that she might have no recurrence or spread of the cancer.  She is very thankful for all the prayer support.

The Moore Family
Please continue to pray for the Moore family and especially Sarah.

Lesley Osborn
Lesley Osborn is on renal dialysis. Lesley sends her thanks for your prayers which are much appreciated.
