People in our fellowship who are ill but not mentioned by name in the list below.

Prime Time Cream Tea
Catriona writes: ‘On Saturday 14th April, 60 guests will be welcomed to the church for a Prime Time Reunion cream tea. Pray that this will be a special time for all, and that all the practical aspects such as transport will come together.’

Leah Sharibu
Please pray for Leah Sharibu – a 15-year-old Christian girl who was kidnapped by Boko Haram and has not yet been freed because she is a Christian and has refused to deny her faith.

Andrea Mason
Andrea Mason has a date of 12 April for knee replacement surgery. Please pray that there is nothing to prevent the operation happening and that there will be no complications during or after surgery and a swift recovery can be made.

John Vale (Grandfather of Michelle Bishop)
Michelle is thankful for your prayers for her Grandfather. Due to a lack of appetite, he is losing weight rapidly, please pray that his appetite will return and that he returns to a healthy weight. Please also pray for Michelle and her family.

Monica Finnemore
Monica wishes to thank everyone for their prayers following her short hospital stay. She is thankful to say that although ongoing, her pain is now much easier.

Jean Evans (friend of Rosemary Kennedy)
Rosemary writes: “Jean Evans is presently in recovery from cancer treatment and thanks St Johns for their prayers”

Mark and Jenny Witheridge
Please pray for Jenny, Mark, James and the wider family following the recent loss of Jenny’s Mum.

Sue Clegg
Please continue to uphold Sue Clegg particularly for peace as she undergoes further tests and consultations.

Lorna Uden
Please continue to pray for Lorna following the loss of her mother. Lorna is also suffering from very painful blocked tear ducts, pray for complete healing.

June Fluck
Praise God that June is settled in Bryony House Care Home. Pray that she will be in good health and will increasingly feel at home in her new environment.

Sam Parker
Praise God that Sam’s symptoms have been improving and that after good results from the scans, he will be monitored from afar. Pray that his symptoms will disappear.

Elizabeth Brown (mother of Helen Van Vliet)
Helen writes: “Thanks for continuing to pray for my Mum. She has recovered 80-90% of her capacity, which is truly wonderful. I would love to continue to pray for the remaining 10-20%.”

Beryl Beavis
Beryl writes: ‘Thank you for your prayers. The pain is almost gone. Please continue to pray for complete healing of the nerves and muscles.’

Sarah Ball
Sarah is thankful for lots of help recently, allowing her to recuperate slowly from a recent long virus. She is still having ongoing ME issues, so would really appreciate continued prayer for healing.

Christiane Neumann
Christiane would value prayer for recovery of energy and increased mobility, and that she might have no recurrence or spread of the cancer.  She is very thankful for all the prayer support.

The Moore Family
Please continue to pray for the Moore family and especially Sarah.

Lesley Osborn
Lesley Osborn is on renal dialysis. Lesley sends her thanks for your prayers which are much appreciated.

Asher Sinclair (2 years)
Pray for Asher, his parents David and Helen, his sister Erin, and his grandparents Will and Jo Drever. Asher has been at Great Ormond Street Hospital, is now home, but continues to need treatment.


Older members of our congregation especially for people with dementia and those who care for them.

Pray for the Older Members of our community attending ‘The Faith Course’ throughout March and April.

Pray for Catriona and her team as they run monthly services at The Kenrick Centre. Pray also for all the residents attending these events.

Carers in our church family who are looking after those who are ill or in need of on-going care.

Housebound members of our fellowship, and those in nursing homes.

Those who can no longer attend church for a variety of reasons.

PCC members as they serve the church in 2017-2018.

St John’s Buildings Project Steering Group as they meet fortnightly to discuss, plan and pray about our future building project.

Ben Baker, Sean Clancy and Mark Roper as they train for ordained ministry.
