Child Check-In

Starting in September 2017, we are going to be using an electronic registration system for our Sunday children’s groups.

There are several reasons for doing this:

  • It will improve the efficiency of how the children’s team manage and keep information
  • It will be safer from a child protection point of view
  • It will allow improved communication between parents and the children’s team
  • The information held will be held securely on Church Suite our administration database system.  The only people who will have access to this are St John’s staff team and the children’s team group leaders. 

To help things run smoothly, we will be pre-registering children over the Summer (see below for specific dates).  The number then needing to register in September should be minimal.  It is really important that all children are registered, not only so that our children’s groups are run efficiently and safely but also so that the children’s team can get to know families better and ensure that they have access to anything they might need to know in supporting each child.

Dates for pre-registration:

  • Sunday 9th July for parents of  all Movers & Shakers and Strong Towers
  • Sunday 23rd July for parents of all Miracle Makers and Mighty Warriors
  • Sunday 20th August for parents of Ignite
  • Sunday 27th August

Pre-registration will take place in the Main Hall before and after the 9.15am service (July) or 10am service (August).
