PRAYER IS REQUESTED FOR

People in our fellowship who are ill but not mentioned by name in the list below.

Elizabeth Brown (mother of Helen Van Vleet)
Please pray for Elizabeth who had a subarachnoid haemorrhage (a bleed around her brain) and is in a coma in the QE. Please pray that she won’t have another bleed, that she will soon be able to breathe reliably for herself, and that she makes a full recovery.

Christiane Neumann
Christiane would value prayer that the fatigue and breathlessness she is experiencing would soon disappear now that her treatment regime has been rectified and that there would have been no lasting damage to the heart muscle. Pray for special times over Easter when she is in Germany with family and friends (until the end of April).

Sue Clegg
Sue writes: “Give thanks for a successful operation and steady recovery since, the Consultant says that further treatment is in abeyance. Thank you for all your prayers, messages and practical support received. Dark glasses will remain for a time – but summer is coming!”

Caroline Harvey
Please pray for Caroline as she embarks on a short term mission trip to the USA and Cambodia. Caroline writes “I am away Friday 7th April – Friday 9th June with Patricia King and XP Ministries, doing an internship for a month in Phoenix, Arizona and then in Cambodia for a month, helping to rescue victims of sex trafficking. I would appreciate prayer for a supernatural ability to cope, strength, energy & good sleep and safety & protection.”

Les Hyett
Norah writes: “Les is now settled in Selly Wood Nursing Home where he is well looked after. He is now able to sit out in an armchair for part of the day but is not yet able to walk. We do appreciate prayers that he will be content.”

Sid and Margaret Ball (parents of Sarah Ball)
Give thanks that Margaret has started to respond following an increase in her medication.  Sid’s care provision at home has begun to raise safeguarding concerns.  Please do continue to hold him in your prayers as Social Services have so far been slow to sort things out and his physical health has declined in the meantime.  Please also pray for Sarah for energy and for physical healing as she battles with ME.

Parents of Andrea Mason
Please pray for Andrea’s father who has had to stop taking his dementia medication due to a very rare side effect. He is due to see the Consultant again this week.  Andrea asks for prayer for both of her parents, both of whom are in their 80’s.  Please continue to pray that they can access the right services that they need during this difficult time.

Lawrence Lee
Please continue to pray for  Lawrence Lee. He returned to hospital recently for further adjustments to his stimulator.  It will still take some time for all the benefits of the procedure to be realised.  Pray for more freedom of movement without any disruption to his emotional state. The family are most grateful for your prayers.

Lesley Osborn
Lesley Osborn on renal dialysis. Lesley sends her thanks for your prayers which are much appreciated.

Karen (work colleague of Brennan Horne)
Please pray for Karen who has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Give thanks that despite some complications her operation went well.  Please continue to pray for Karen’s good recovery as she hopes to return to work in April.

Thelma Jones
Please pray for Thelma who is struggling with infections.

June Fluck
Pray for June Fluck, coping with a number of situations regarding her health at present.

Asher Sinclair (1 year)
Pray for Asher for his medical team as they try to work out the best way to stop his heart from arresting. Pray for his parents David and Helen, his sister Erin, and his grandparents Will and Jo Drever. Asher is at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Vinod Diwakar
Pray for Vinod for continued good recovery and a successful outcome following surgery.
