Alison Fuggle

Alison FuggleAlison writes:
“I collaborate with Roger Jones of CMM in writing songs, and often complete musicals, as a resource for choirs and church groups in a worship context,  and as an opportunity for teaching and drawing closer to Jesus.

I write  most of the words and dramatic links, while Roger writes the music. Assisted by small group of soloists, instrumentalist and often dancers, he uses these songs and musicals as the basis for worship days, services or concerts,  mostly in the UK, but also in other countries.  Our prayer is that what we write will be used to open hearts to the working of the Holy Spirit.

Roger has just finished 3 months on Sabbatical, some of it abroad, so our collaboration has been on hold.

Pray that we may see where God is leading now; how he wants to use each of us in the coming days to communicate his Word; whether he wants to give new direction or a different emphasis; and to be bold to do as he wants.

Alison is married to Bill and has two grown up sons.

I was bought your book, Fishermens Friend by a special friend called Mary who sadly died this year after a long illness. I love the poems and recently organised a poetry evening at our church and used some of your material which everyone loved. Thank you – keep writing.
