PRAYER IS REQUESTED FOR

People in our fellowship who are ill but not mentioned by name in the list below.

Les Hyett
Norah Hyett writes: “Les is still in the Q.E. Hospital, but we hope he will soon be able to move to Selly Wood Nursing Home to receive good care and encouragement”.

Sue Clegg
Sue writes: “Thank you to all who are praying for me – I am blessed by you and less anxious. The consultants have given a clear treatment plan now, as I continue to seek His complete healing.”

Christiane Neumann
Please continue to pray for Christiane. She has now completed her radiotherapy treatment and is very slowly regaining her strength while continuing with three weekly infusions.  She values our continued prayer support.

Lawrence Lee
Thank you for your prayers for Lawrence Lee. He had a deep brain stimulation procedure to treat disabling symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and improve his mobility. He is still in hospital in London. Please pray for protection against any nasty side effects (eg. hallucinations) and for the successful blocking of the electrical signals that cause Parkinson’s symptoms.

Parents of Andrea Mason
Andrea’s father was seen by the Consultant last week and has been prescribed medication for dementia.  Andrea asks for prayer for both of her parents, both of whom are in their 80’s.  Please continue to pray that they can access the right services that they need during this difficult time.

Family and friends of Caroline Gilmour-White
Please pray for the family and friends of Caroline who died of Motor Neurone Disease on Tuesday 7th February.  Her funeral will be at St John’s at 10.30am on Thursday 23rd February.

Alison Norden
Pray for Alison, now home from hospital, but with on-going health problems.

Enid Jordan
“Enid would love to thank all those who have been praying for her before and since her eye operation last Friday. She is very grateful for everyone’s prayers, and grateful to be a part of such a church community as St. John’s.”

Thelma Jones
Please pray for Thelma who is struggling with infections.

Sid and Margaret Ball (parents of Sarah Ball)
After a lengthy process we are thankful that Margaret’s care needs at her nursing home are now being fully met. The GP is now looking into reasons for her recent extra health problems however, she seems content in herself. Sid’s care provision at home is inconsistent so we are seeking advice regarding what is acceptable or not. Your continued prayers are much appreciated.

Family and friends of Kay Hone
Please pray for the family and friends of Kay. Her funeral was at Sandwell Crematorium on 15th February.

Lesley Osborn
“I have now started renal dialysis. Please pray for us as we adjust to this massive change in our lives. Hopefully I will feel a real benefit from my treatment. I am very grateful for the support and prayers of so many. Please keep praying.”
