Prayer for Church Members (8th December 2016)

PRAYER IS REQUESTED FOR

People in our fellowship who are ill but not mentioned by name in the list below.

June Fluck
Pray for June Fluck, coping with a number of situations regarding her health at present.

Val Nield
Valerie would like you to know that the outcome of the Coroner’s Inquest on her late husband, Keith, was Accidental Death. There are to be further meetings to discuss a possible adverse reaction to a prescription drug which Keith had been taking during the last few weeks of his life. Valerie thanks you most sincerely for your prayers, cards and messages which have given her great comfort at this very difficult time.

Father of Pat Brydon
Pat Brydon would like to express her grateful thanks for all prayers offered during her father’s recovery, who last week returned to the comforts of his own home.

Steve Foster
Pray for Steve following his knee replacement operation this week. Pray for protection against infection and good recovery.

Peter Jones (father of Bev Reynolds)
Pray for Peter following the death of his wife Barbara on Saturday 12th November. Bev asks that we pray especially for Peter as he comes to terms with being on his own more. Pray for Bev following the loss of her mother and for the rest of her family at this time.

Christiane Neumann
Christiane is very grateful for people’s prayers following her recent further surgery for breast cancer. She’s slowly getting better, but still feels extremely tired.

Les Hyett
Norah Hyett writes: “In view of various health problems Les is now in Castlecroft Residential Care Home in Weoley Castle.  Please pray that he will settle down and find peace and contentment.”

Caroline Gilmour-White
Caroline has now moved to Gracewell of Edgaston.  Pray that she settles in well and knows God’s presence with her in a special way.

Peggy Williams
Peggy is beginning to settle much better into her Care Home.  Pray that she will continue to settle, to be at peace and be happy to call this her home.

Asher Sinclair (eleven months)
Pray for Asher for his medical team as they try to work out the best way to stop his heart from arresting. Pray for his parents David and Helen, his sister Erin, and his grandparents Will and Jo Drever. Asher is at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Chris (work colleague of Tilly Orleans-Thompson)
Please pray for Chris who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has just started chemotherapy and is struggling to look after her two small children (aged 1 and 3 years) and herself.  Pray also for her husband that he would be able to cope with all the demands on him at this time.

Sid and Margaret Ball (parents of Sarah Ball)
Sarah gives thanks that following a long spell in hospital, Sid is coping amazingly well back in his own home. Please continue to pray for him to receive appropriate care for his ongoing health conditions. Please also continue to pray for Margaret who remains in a care home. Pray for appropriate care and improvement in her condition.

Vinod Diwakar
Pray for Vinod for good recovery and a successful outcome following recent surgery.

Lesley Osborn
“I am being prepared for when I need dialysis. My main prayer request is that I can manage without it for as long as possible. I have been well enough to have a short holiday for which I am very thankful.”

Parents of Andrea Mason
Please pray for Andrea’s father who has deteriorating health problems and is currently undergoing investigations. Andrea asks for prayer for both of her parents at this difficult time.

Carers in our church family who are looking after those who are ill or in need of on-going care.

Housebound members of our fellowship, and those in nursing homes.

Those who can no longer attend church for a variety of reasons.
