How to give online to those in need at Christmas…

St John’s has a tradition of giving away freewill and cash offerings at all our Christmas Services from the Carol Services on 18th December until Sunday 1st January.

You also have the option of giving online throughout Advent until Sunday 1st January!

In 2016, the money will be divided between the work of the following ministries:

…in their work amongst asylum seekers and refugees.
RESTORE is a project of Birmingham Churches Together to help and support refugees and asylum seekers through befriending by volunteers.  Jeremy Thompson, one of our Mission Partners works with Restore.

Birmingham City Mission

BIRMINGHAM CITY MISSION

…as they offer help and support to the needy and marginalised throughout Birmingham and its suburbs, regardless of age, creed or race;  as well as proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel.

This year is Birmingham City Mission’s 50th year.  For 50 Christmases they have helped the needy of our city.  Their Christmas Appeal this year will go towards: feeding the homeless at our new Care Centre;  Give 1,000s of toys to needy children; Serve Christmas meals to many lonely elderly and; Pass on food parcels to families in crisis.

HOW TO DONATE

  • Online. Click on the Donate button below and follow the instructions. Please type ‘Christmas Giving’  in the section marked ‘Special instructions to the seller’.  (This facility will appear after you have filled in your details, and when you proceed to the page where you review your gift.)  Also where applicable, please can you complete the online Gift Aid Declaration form.



If you have made donated via Paypal please can you complete the online Gift Aid Declaration form

  • On Sundays you can put cash*, cheque* or charity voucher (payable to St John’s Church PCC) into the offering baskets.
  • By Post to St John’s Church Office, 5a Greenfield Road, Harborne, Birmingham, B17 0ED.

*  If you are a UK tax payer please use one of the Yellow Gift Aid Envelopes available from the Welcome Team.
