Introducing our new Youth for Christ gap year volunteer…

I grew up in Wigan where I attended a Methodist Mission church in the town centre. My passions are youth work, discipleship and music.

I have a degree in Theology from Cliff College, Derbyshire. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Cliff College and learned a great deal which I feel will have given me a solid foundation for my future.

In 2015 I joined Youth for Christ (YFC) gap year as part of the The Sense, YFC touring band playing electric guitar. During this year I grew in my passion to see the gospel shared with young people and to see them grow in a relationship with God.

I am at St John’s as a Youth for Christ gap year volunteer working with Mark Watson helping run the youth programme. I work three days a week at St John’s and two days a week with the prayer co-ordinator at YFC.
