PRAYER IS REQUESTED FOR

People in our fellowship who are ill but not mentioned by name in the list below.

Alison and Leonard Browne

Pray for the Leonard and Alison, and Alison’s father as they settle into the vicarage.

Sarah and Richard Gough (returning members of St John’s)
Sarah, Richard, Isobel and Eleanor are moving back to Birmingham after spending the last three years in Michigan in the US. They have sent us this prayer request: “We are flying back on 6th August and we’re looking forward to coming back to St John’s!  We would appreciate it if you could pray for us as we transition back to the UK, especially for Isobel and Eleanor.  As yet, we don’t have a school place for Isobel. She should be in Year 1 in September and we are on the waiting list at St Peter’s. I will be homeschooling her until a place becomes available. We’re not sure where we will be living either – we need to start looking as soon as we can!”

Sid Ball (father of Sarah Ball)
Following a long spell in hospital, Sid has been fully discharged and is now settling back at home. Pray for him and his carers as they learn how to manage his various health needs. Pray for the family following the death of Sid’s sister Doris this week.   Pray for strength and wisdom for Sarah and her siblings at this time.
