Ministry Assistant Programme

Applications for 2012/13 program have now closed. Thank you for your interest.

Would you like an opportunity to explore and develop your gifts, to be invested in and to work as part of a creative team to see the Kingdom of God grow in Harborne and further afield?
If yes, why not consider the

Ministry Assistant Programme

running from September 2012, as part of the growing ministry of St John’s?

As part of reflecting on what the Lord has been doing in the life of St John’s, and in seeking to develop our vision of Reviving, Resourcing and Releasing, we are looking to take on a number of Ministry Assistants starting in September 2012.

The Ministry Assistant Programme is an opportunity for people to join the staff team for one year on a voluntary basis, working for 2 to 3 days per week with the Church and getting paid employment elsewhere to fund themselves. Accommodation will be provided with a church member.

They could be people of any age, but primarily those who are maybe testing a possible call to get more involved in full time Christian ministry or people who want to gain experience and develop gifts in a particular area of ministry.

For more information, contact Ruth Hassall, Pastor of Transforming Discipleship on

Closing dates for applications: 21 May 2012.
