Les Hyett
Please pray for Les who has been unwell for the past week. Give thanks for recent improvement and pray that he would continue to gain strength.

Tom Walker (former vicar of St John’s)
Tom has recently been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer.  Please pray for him and his wife Molly, who suffers with dementia; and all his family at this difficult time.

Lesley Osborn
Lesley is home from hospital following recent valve replacement surgery. Lesley writes: “I am getting on well with the new heart valve and gradually increasing my strength and what I can do. I am still at risk of my kidneys failing more permanently, but I am very grateful that they rallied after an episode of acute renal failure some while ago, and then the heart surgery. Thanks to everyone for their ongoing prayers”.

Helen Nixon
Helen would like to thank all who have prayed for her cataract operation.  Please continue to pray for her complete recovery.

Chris Feak (former member of St John’s)
Pray for Chris following a serious heart attack two weeks ago and now with the added complication of pneumonia. Please also pray for strength for his wife Alison and for their children Tim and Clare.  We have received an update from Alison via Angie Atkins: “Chris is now on the general ward and in good spirits.  I am not sure what future treatment he will need.  His lungs are slowly clearing”.

Bernie Barber (sister-in-law of Ginny Cornish)
Please pray for Bernie who is very poorly with late stage ovarian cancer.  Please pray for her all her family at this difficult time.

Des Cole
Des gives praise that having finished chemotherapy for bowel cancer in January he has been signed me off any more treatment. Also, that the job that he started in November has been going well.   Des started a course of radiotherapy for the prostate cancer on 3rd March, which is taking place every working day for seven and a half weeks. Pray that he does not suffer the worst side effects, and the treatment will be effective in removing the cancer cells.

Baby Asher
Please continue to pray for baby Asher at Great Ormond Street recovering after a life threatening virus. Pray for the medical staff as they continue to assess the extent of the resultant complications. Pray that the planned tracheotomy procedure is able to go ahead. Pray for his parents David and Helen, his sister Erin, and his grandparents Will and Jo Drever at this very difficult time.

Barry Blakemore
Pray for Barry who is poorly at home. Please pray for Yvonne as she cares for him and for their children Simon, Faith and Miriam.

Sid and Margaret Ball (parents of Sarah Ball)
Please continue to pray for Sarah Ball’s mother and father. Margaret is currently settled in a nursing home but would appreciate continued prayer for her health. Sid has struggled to cope with the change and is now in hospital himself. Please pray for the whole family and for wisdom for those treating Sid.

Jeremy Sharpe
Pray for Jeremy undergoing renal investigations at QEHB.

Doris Macdonald
Please pray for Doris for continued good recovery at home following a major gall bladder operation.
