Andy Haynes from Walsall is the “Racing Preacher”. He races as a motorcycle sidecar passenger on a range of sidecars on the UK’s most prestigious tracks including Brands Hatch and Snetterton, and on the Isle of Man.
Andy and his rider Jon came third in the 2015 British F1 Sidecars Championship. When not racing, Andy can be found leading services in churches across Walsall.
Andy first had a go at being a sidecar passenger in 2013: “It’s safe to say I have never been so scared, but never enjoyed myself so much. I was hooked from then on.”
Andy and his driver Jon, an ordained minister, regularly compete against the cream of ‘their sport’.
