Prayer for Church Members (17th December 2015)

Doris Macdonald
Please pray for Doris for good recovery following a major gall bladder operation.

June Fluck
Please pray for June and her family following the sudden death of her sister Ann Parker in Gloucester on Sunday 13th December.

Ripa and Roozbeh (members of St Mark’s, Smethwick)
Update from Jeremy Thompson: “There is very good news because the Immigration Judge overturned the original decision made by the Home Office and they have been granted refugee status, which means they can rebuild their lives here.  Roozbeh who has experience in sales and marketing is already applying for jobs.   Please continue to pray for Ripa’s health.  She is back at home from hospital but is still experiencing problems due to the brain tumour.  Please pray for a miracle of healing.

Judith Collings
Please pray for Judith following the death of her father Norman Bargh on the 5th December. His funeral is on the 18th December in Grange-over-Sands.

Barbara Hawkins
Barbara Hawkins, back home after a second brief spell in hospital.

Iris Andrews
Iris Andrews is hoping to be discharged soon, after a long spell in hospital with a broken leg. Pray that she will soon be allowed home and that she will have health and strength to regain her independence.

Laurie Deimel
Laurie gives thanks all those who have prayed for him and for answered prayer.

Margaret Ball (mother of Sarah Ball)
Please continue to pray for Sarah Ball’s mother following her recent stroke and ongoing complications.  Please also pray for her father Sid who is struggling to adapt and is experiencing health concerns of his own.

Dave Allen
Pray for Dave who had a stroke two months ago. Dave is making very good progress. Please keep praying that his hand, wrist and fingers regain full strength. Also that he will regain fine motor control in his hand and his walking keeps improving. Also pray for Beccy and their two young boys.

Des Cole
Please continue to pray for his recovery. He has started a new job in November and would appreciate prayer for the transition back to work, being able to fully get back into the rhythm of work.

Daniel Roberts
Please contine to pray for continued progress in the health of Tim and Katie’s baby son Daniel.

Barry Blakemore
Pray for Barry who is poorly at home and undergoing a further course of treatment. Please pray for Yvonne as she cares for him and for their children Simon, Faith and Miriam.

Lesley Osborn
Please pray for Lesley facing a number of important hospital tests in coming weeks.

Priscilla White (Area Dean and Vicar of St Faith and St Laurence)
Please pray for Priscilla recovering from surgery for cancer.

Delphine Nurse
Delphine is continuing with radiotherapy following her cancer diagnosis some months ago. Pray for strength for her, and for good success from the therapy.
