Pray for Barbara who is in hospital.

Older People in our Parish
Pray for other older people in our parish including Joyce Strode who has just celebrated her 90th birthday in hospital; Pam Sutton who was 95 last Saturday; and Peggy Williams who was 92 last Monday.

Laurie Deimel
Laurie gives thanks all those who have prayed for him and for answered prayer.

Margaret Ball (mother of Sarah Ball)

Please continue to pray for Sarah Ball’s mother following her recent stroke and ongoing complications.

Ripa and Roozbeh (members of St Mark’s, Smethwick)
Update from Jeremy Thompson: “Ripa had surgery earlier in November and was discharged from the QE a few days later. However, due to further problems she is now back in the QE and the long term prognosis is still not good. She needs a miracle. On top of this, Roozbeh has to attend an appeal hearing on their asylum application on Monday 23rd November at the Immigration Court in Sheldon. Please pray for healing for Ripa and that their case would be dealt with compassionately by the Immigration Judge.”

Penny Marces
Penny’s father, Brian Everness died following a short illness at the end of October. Brian was 84 and had been widowed for two years.

Peter Paddock
Peter Paddock is recovering from heart surgery for a mitral valve repair. Jenny writes: “Thank you for everyone’s prayers for Peter, who is now home and doing well after his operation; and also for our daughter who arrived home safely.”

Dave Allen
Pray for Dave who had a stroke two months ago. Dave is making very good progress. Please keep praying that his hand, wrist and fingers regain full strength. Also that he will regain fine motor control in his hand and his walking keeps improving. Also pray for Beccy and their two young boys.

Des Cole
Please continue to pray for his recovery. He has started a new job in November and would appreciate prayer for the transition back to work, being able to fully get back into the rhythm of work.

Daniel Roberts
Please contine to pray for continued progress in the health of Tim and Katie’s baby son Daniel.

Barry Blakemore
Pray for Barry who is poorly at home and undergoing a further course of treatment. Please pray for Yvonne as she cares for him and for their children Simon, Faith and Miriam.

Dennis Brazell
Please pray for Dennis recovering from a recent heart operation.

Lesley Osborn
Please pray for Lesley facing a number of important hospital tests in coming weeks.

Iris Andrews
Iris is in Moseley Hall Hospital for rehabilitation following a broken leg. Iris attends the 11.00 am service, she is registered blind and will be 90 in February.

Priscilla White (Area Dean and Vicar of St Faith and St Laurence)
Please pray for Priscilla recovering from surgery for cancer.

Delphine Nurse
Delphine is continuing with radiotherapy following her cancer diagnosis some months ago. Pray for strength for her, and for good success from the therapy.

Richard Kent

Thelma Jones
Thelma has now moved to the care home in Cotteridge. Thelma has sent a message to say thank you for our prayers regarding her transition to Cotteridge House.

Others in our fellowship who are ill but who are not mentioned in this list.


Carers in our church family who are looking after those who are ill or in need of on-going care.

Housebound members of our fellowship, and those in Nursing Homes.

Those who can no longer attend church for a variety of reasons
