Margaret Ball (wife of Sid Ball, mother of Sarah Ball)
Margaret is in the QE Hospital following a severe stroke.  Please pray for her recovery.

Gwen Gregory
Pray for Gwen who is now back home, but remains weak.  Gwen and Frank thank the church for our on-going prayer, support and visits.

Simon Martin
Brian and Christine have emailed us about their son: “Simon’s long standing, complex, mental health issues have been deteriorating in recent months, currently to the point of crisis.  We would value prayer support for him.”

Eric Stenning (father of Ansley Stenning)
Eric had a fall at his home in sheltered accommodation. He has developed complications and is seriously ill in hospital.

Barry Blakemore
Pray for Barry who is poorly at home and undergoing a further course of treatment. Please pray for Yvonne as she cares for him and for their children Simon, Faith and Miriam.

Paul, Anthony and Susie Featherstone
Following Marjorie’s funeral and thanksgiving service on Tuesday 21st July please hold Paul, Anthony and Susie and their extended family in your prayers at this very sad and difficult time.

Ripa and Roozbeh (members of St Mark’s, Smethwick)
Please pray for Ripa and Roozbeh, members of St Mark’s, Smethwick and known to Restore. Ripa, 28, has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. She is awaiting surgery at the QE which could help to extend her life expectancy. She needs a miracle of healing. She would also like her mother to visit from her home country, so please pray that the Home Office will respond compassionately to the visa request.

From Caroline Gilmour-White who has sent us this update: “Thank you, dear St John’s, for your faithful prayers.  God is good.  My house sold on 27th July and I am now settled in Flat 8, Queen Mother Court, 151 Sellywood Road, B30 1TH, off Oak Tree Lane.”


Des Cole
Des is recuperating at home following surgery to remove a tumour and section of his bowel.  Cathy writes “Please keep praying for us – for strength, resilience, good sleep, wisdom in dealing with the rest of life ……..  Des also has to make some decisions about work – please pray for wisdom about these.”

Delphine Nurse
Pray for Delphine as she recovers from an operation for breast cancer and is currently undergoing further treatment.  She asks us to pray about the emotional and practical as well as the physical aspects of the situation for herself and also for her house-mate Jackie.

Lesley Osborn
Please pray for her general health.

Priscilla White (Area Dean and Vicar of St Faith and St Laurence)
Please pray for Priscilla recovering for surgery for cancer.

Pray for Betty Edmonds who has an on-going health issue.

Thelma Jones
Pray for Thelma who is spending an initial six weeks in a care home in Cotteridge. She thanks us all for the prayers, cards and flowers she has received.

Peggy Williams
Peggy is now living at home in Harborne. Pray that she would settle back after her trial time in Buckinghamshire.


Carers in our church family who are looking after those who are ill or in need of on going care.

Housebound members of our our fellowship, and those in Nursing Homes.

Those who can no longer attend church for a variety of reasons
