Barry Blakemore
Pray for Barry who is poorly at home and undergoing a further course of treatment. Please pray for Yvonne as she cares for him and for their children Simon, Faith and Miriam.

Des Cole
Des is recuperating at home following surgery to remove a tumour and section of his bowel.  Cathy writes “Please keep praying for us – for strength, resilience, good sleep, wisdom in dealing with the rest of life ……..  Des also has to make some decisions about work – please pray for wisdom about these.”

Paul, Anthony and Susie Featherstone
Following Marjorie’s funeral and thanksgiving service on Tuesday 21st July please hold Paul, Anthony and Susie and their extended family in your prayers at this very sad and difficult time.

Krista and Hikmat Kashouh
Please pray for Krista, Hikmat, Krista’s mother Ilze and their extended family in Latvia after the death of her father Andris recently following a brave battle with cancer. Hikmat and Krista are based in Lebanon.

Delphine Nurse
Pray for Delphine as she recovers from an operation for breast cancer.  She asks us to pray about the emotional and practical as well as the physical aspects of the situation for herself and also for her house-mate Jackie.

Ripa and Roozbeh (members of St Mark’s, Smethwick)
Please pray for Ripa and Roozbeh, members of St Mark’s, Smethwick and known to Restore. Ripa, 28, has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. She is awaiting surgery at the QE which could help to extend her life expectancy. She needs a miracle of healing. She would also like her mother to visit from her home country, so please pray that the Home Office will respond compassionately to the visa request.

Carol Swain
Please pray for Carol’s son Richard, who is being treated in London for cancer of the lymphatic system.  Carol is warden at Lingfield Court.

Hazel Thomas
Pray for Hazel has moved from Moseley Hall Hospital to a care home in Wales to be near to her brother.  Pray that she will settle well and experience peace and well-being.

Priscilla White (Area Dean and Vicar of St Faith and St Laurence)
Please pray for Priscilla who has to undergo a second operation for cancer.  Pray that this will be successful and that therapy treatment can begin.

Gwen Gregory
Pray for Gwen who has been admited to the QEHB suffering with pleurisy.

Bob and Pam Kimmins
Bob asks us to give thanks for the nerve-blocking injections in his back.  Pray for correct level of pain killers.
Pam would like to thank those who have prayed for her, and sent cards etc. during her recent knee replacement operation. After a rough start, she is now making progress.

Lesley Osborn
Lesley is now at home after a long spell in hospital. Please pray for her general recovery.

Pray for Betty Edmonds who has an on-going health issue.

Caroline Gilmore-White
Following her diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease Caroline writes “Thanks St John’s faithful prayers and God’s remarkable goodness that I’ve now settled and enjoying my new flat in Bournville. Mobile number, unchanged, is point of contact. The house sale hit two glitches and my lovely buyers are helping with my extra council tax and insurance. Please pray on for completion before the end of July.”

Doreen Goff

Olive Hill
Olive Hill passed away on Saturday 27th June.  Pray for her niece, Karen, and the rest of the family at this time.  Her funeral took place at St John’s on 9th July.

Richard Kent

Thelma Jones
Pray for Thelma who is spending an initial six weeks in a care home in Cotteridge. She thanks us all for the prayers, cards and flowers she has received.

Peggy Williams
Peggy is now living at home in Harborne. Pray that she would settle back after her trial time in Buckinghamshire.


Carers in our church family who are looking after those who are ill or in need of on going care.

Housebound members of our our fellowship, and those in Nursing Homes.

Those who can no longer attend church for a variety of reasons
