St John’s Welcome Ministry – update and thanks from Pat

“A huge thank you to all who have responded recently to join one of the welcome teams; sixteen of you overall and several other enquiries which is truly a fabulous response – thank you to everyone!

“I would also like to express grateful thanks to all the existing Welcome Team members who have also responded, offering to undertake extra duties to serve more frequently!

“Please prayerfully consider whether you could be part of our welcome ministry to serve once a month, at a service time of your choice on a very flexible rota.  It’s a great way to meet friends and new people!”

In addition to these responses Pat still needs 4 more people to join the 11am team to bring the team up to full strength

The next stepPat would like to develop a team of people who would be happy to ‘meet and greet’ new people in the Main Hall at the newly refurbished Welcome Point on a rota basis between the morning services and after the evening service.

We wish to extend our welcome after services to newcomers and to those who feel they do not know many people – with refreshments available!

There is a mission on our doorstep will you help?
