tellmystory: ‘In my weakness He is strong’ – Joan Cartledge

Joan CartledgeJoan Cartledge sent in this testimony by email on Monday 18th May:

Last week was a difficult week, I had received some news that greatly disturbed me and made me question God’s leading in my life. I was also suffering from a very painful and immobile shoulder and feeling very vulnerable.

Antony’s sermon on suffering and faithfulness really spoke to me.  I asked God for a sign of his presence in my life.  Two people prayed for my shoulder on Sunday night.  This morning I woke up and realised I had slept through the the night and I had not being woken with pain once.  I moved my arm and realised I had no significant pain, I also had significantly increased mobility.

I asked God for a sign of his presence, and He did not disappoint me.

In my weakness He is strong.
