Barry Blakemore
Pray for Barry who is poorly in hospital undergoing treatment. Please pray for Yvonne as she cares for him and for their children Simon, Faith and Miriam.

Des Cole
Update – Des has now been out of hospital for over a week and is recuperating at home following surgery to remove a tumour and section of his bowel.  Cathy writes “Please keep praying for us – for strength, resilience, good sleep, wisdom in dealing with the rest of life ……..  Des also has to make some decisions about work – please pray for wisdom about these.”

Marjorie Featherstone
Pray for Marjorie back home following a recent spell in hospital. Pray for Paul, Anthony (at University) and Susie (taking exams).

Lesley Osborn
Update – Give thanks that Lesley has finally come home today after four months in hospital. Please pray for her to build up strength in order for her to regain her independence.

Ann Parker (sister of June Fluck)
June writes “I am pleased to say that Ann was discharged from Gloucester Hospital on Friday 8th May. Please pray for her health to continue to improve also for her as she looks at the choices of a new home, possibily in Birmingham.  Many thanks to all in the church who have prayed for her over the time she has spent in two local hospitals.”

Rachel (daughter of Rosemary Kennedy)
Rosemary writes “Thanks you for praying for my daughter Rachel and family who has recovered well from hip surgery at an early age.  She will need one more check up but now drives.”


Joan Benham
Joan is now out of hospital and back at St Joseph’s care home. Please pray for her struggling to cope with life.

Olive Hill
Pray for Olive who is unwell in hospital


Mac Rowse
Pray for Mac following his knee replacement surgery.  He is now out of hospital and making a good recovery so far, pray for continued healing.

Betty Edmonds
Pray for Betty Edmonds who has an on-going health issue

Mike and Rachel Hill
Pray for Mike and Rachel and family as they make preparations to leave Cambodia and return to the UK at the end of June.

Mark Earey
From Alison “Thank you for your prayers. Mark now has a possible diagnosis of spinal stenosis. He is due an MRI in a few weeks to confirm this or see if there is some other underlying cause. Alison & Mark appreciate your ongoing prayer.”

Caroline Gilmore-White
Following her diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease Caroline writes “Dear church family, thank you so much for your prayers and support. My house will go on the market in mid April and is looking good, thanks to all the stupendous decorating help I’ve had from you all. I’ve found a green and leafy place in Bournville I’d like to move into when a flat becomes available. Please could you pray that this would be sooner rather than later.”

Gertie Hughes
Pray for Gertie in hospital following a fall.

Delphine Nurse
Delphine has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She asks us to pray about the emotional and practical as well as the physical aspects of the situation for herself and also for her house-mate Jackie. Pray for Delphine as she recovers from a recent operation.

Hazel Thomas
Pray for Hazel Thomas in hospital with a broken arm and a broken leg following a succession of falls.

Peggy Williams
Pray for Peggy as she moves to an Abbeyfield Home in Buckinghamshire for a 4 week trial period beginning 17th April.

Priscilla White (Area Dean and Vicar of St Faith and St Laurence)
Please pray for Priscilla following a recent cancer diagnosis.

Margaret Wozencroft
Pray for Margaret who is struggling with very painful sciatica.  Pray for wisdom for the medical staff treating her.


Bob and Pam Kimmins
Pray for Bob and Pam who are both struggling with painful mobility problems.

Bernie Barber (sister-in-law of Ginny Cornish)
Pray for Bernie following a diagnosis with bilateral ovarian cancer. At present it is thought that these are new primary cancers and not spread from her knee sarcoma which she had removed just six months ago.

Richard Kent

Carers Pray for those in our church family who take care of others.

Housebound members of our our fellowship, and those in Nursing Homes.

Pray for Church members no longer able to attend.
