Trumpet Call – a National Day of Prayer

Trumpets callingSaturday 4th July
10am – 5pm
The International Convention Centre, Birmingham

Marcus tells us about this event and why we should go along

“If ever there was a time for us to be on our knees in prayer, surely it is now.

“There is a growing sense of unease in us as we look at world events unfolding around us, coupled with a growing sense among God’s people of the call to ‘get back to prayer’.

“In the Old Testament, trumpets were used to:

  • Gather leaders
  • Assemble the people
  • Move the people forward
  • Sound an alarm for war
  • Celebrate God’s goodness

“The organisers of Trumpet Call say that, although they feel clearly called by the Lord to host this event, they do not currently know the exact detail of the day. They do, however, expect it to include these five callings.

“Come and join the wider Church in prayer – as we stand in unity – calling on God to move again by His Spirit.”
