Standing In The Gaps

STanding in the Gaps home page imageHelen Nixon reports back from the recent Churches Together in Harborne Forum

“At the Churches Together in Harborne (CTH) meeting on 28th April I received this letter from Birmingham Churches Together (BCT), inviting St John’s to sign up to their new website

“The Debt Strand and Benefits Advice at The Crossway seem to be relevant to this, and possibly also our collections for food banks. There may be other St John’s ministries which we are involved with like City Pastors which could be added. Anyone who wants their ministry added to the website please send details to The Church Office.

“The CT Harborne subscription to Birmingham CT covers access to the free BCT electronic newsletter  This includes three electronic issues per annum of the Birmingham Ecumenical News magazine.

“People can subscribe by entering their e-mail address against the Subscribe Button

“Can I encourage members of St John’s to sign up to this, to raise awareness of Christian events and activities across Birmingham.
