News of a  special event for children and families

The story of Easter is at the centre of our Christian faith, Easter Sunday presents the joyful opportunity to celebrate that Jesus is alive! However, we can’t have Easter Sunday without Jesus suffering on the cross on Good Friday! This is something it can be easy to gloss over when we are telling the story with children as it isn’t easy or nice to hear. Nevertheless, marking Good Friday in some way gives us a great chance to tell the whole story of Easter.

Therefore we are putting on an event accessible to families and young children to explore why Good Friday is Good News!

There will be an opportunity to engage in various crafts and activities suitable for children of all ages as well as a short act of worship that presents the story of Easter in an interactive way.

It won’t be longer than an hour but hopefully will be a great time for us a church of all ages to mark Good Friday in a meaningful way.

Come along to Church, meeting in the Main Hall at 3.30pm on Good Friday.
