John and Debby Bridge
John and Debby are happy to announce the safe arrival of their first grandchild Arthur George to their daughter Rebekah and her husband Luke.

Older Members of St John’s
Please remember in your prayers the older members of our congregation, a number of whom are undergoing hospital appointments and procedures.

Diarmid Campbell
Diarmid would like to thank all for their ongoing prayers over the last 13 months and is delighted that as of this Tuesday the DVLA have given him the all clear to resume driving.

RECENT ENTRIES

Thelma Jones
Pray for Thelma following an eye operation last week. Praise God that afer previous delays it all went ahead this time! Please pray for good recovery and for her follow up appointments.

Mark Earey
Mark has had a severe case of sciatica but it now appears that the cause is something as yet unidentified in his hip. Please pray for a quick referral to establish the root cause and appropriate treatment.

Ruth Hassall
Pray for Ruth following a recent car accident. Pray for relief from pain and healing of her broken ribs.

Des Cole
Pray for Des Cole undertaking a course of treatment and as he undertakes further tests to determine the spread of disease.

Lesley Osborn
Continue to pray for Lesley in the QEHB. Lesley is making good, steady progress. It is likely to be a month before she is home from hospital.

Caroline Gilmore-White
Caroline thanks our St John’s Church family for answered prayer for herself and family about her Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis. In the coming months her house will be readied to sell. She would be grateful for prayers for God’s choice of somewhere smaller and more sheltered to live in the southern suburbs.

Ruth Spalton (102yrs)
Ruth, at 102, is our oldest church member. She is in a Care Home and is quite frail and has very poor sight and hearing. However, she remains interested in the church and often likes to know how things are. This week, she wants to say thank you to all who pray for her and she sends her love to all who know her.

Bob and Pam Kimmins
Pray for Bob and Pam who are both struggling with painful mobility problems. Please pray that an MRI scan appointment needed for diagnosis would come through soon.

Joan Benham
Pray for Joan struggling with severe mobility problems.

Molly Walker
Tom would like to pass on his thanks for all our prayers to date: “We remain encouraged by steady, with small but contiuned recognised, improvements”. Tom is in very good heart and able enough to sustain the constant round of love and care.

Doreen Goff
Pray for Doreen following a recent operation

Laurie Deimel

Bernie Barber (sister-in-law of Ginny Cornish)
Pray for Bernie following a diagnosis with bilateral ovarian cancer. At present it is thought that these are new primary cancers and not spread from her knee sarcoma which she had removed just six months ago.

Richard Kent

Audrey Grey (sister of Irene Elias)
Pray for Audrey who is seriously ill. She was widowed last December and now finds that she has an advanced cancer.

Carers Pray for those in our church family who take care of others.

Housebound members of our our fellowship, and those in Nursing Homes.

Pray for Church members no longer able to attend.
