‘The Lord clearly working in our midst’ – Student Weekend Away in February

Students at Stanton 2015 MontageMartin Graham reports back :

“Twenty one students, plus leaders, went off for the weekend together in mid February to Stanton House near Oxford.

“The location was the lovely Stanton manor house near Oxford, set in lovely grounds including a river and wonderful views.  Stanton House had  good facilities and even better food.

“The spiritual food (!) was three sessions on the Father’s love, followed buy a prophetic evening, where all were prayed for and received a remarkable array of prophetic words from others in the group.

“There were a number of clear ‘bulls eyes” where a prophetic word from someone ‘not in-the-know’ specifically spoke to a person’s key need or question – so that was very exciting (and led to not a few tears – positive ones, we think!).

“The Sunday morning included a talk on identity, then Holy Communion, a feedback session and then some exuberant worship.

“The Saturday afternoon was free for wide games, board games and chilling out and in the evening of St Valentine’s Day we had a special dinner

“The whole thing was delightful and bonding, with the Lord clearly moving in our midst – the main minibus moving rather less well, however, managing a maximum of 65 MPH on the motorway!

We’ll probably be back at Stanton House next year (12-14 February 2016).  Students keep the weekend free!”
