Clair Dinsdale
Pray for Clair who has broken a bone in her arm whilst on holiday in Switzerland.  Chris writes: “Thank you Jesus for the fantastic care in the hospital and back in the hotel”.

Lesley Osborn
Continue to pray for Lesley Osborn who is recovering in the QEHB after having been very ill. Lesley is progressing well following a recent serious set-back and would welcome visitors!

RECENT ENTRIES

Jane Boyd (mother of Debby Bridge)
Pray for Debby’s mother Jane who is in hospital following a fall. Pray for wisdom for right decisions for the doctors, Debby and her family as they make decisions about her ongoing care.

Jackie Eldred and Thelma Jones
Please continue to pray for health and strength for both Thelma Jones and Jackie Eldred.

Tim and Rachel Hughes
“I am delighted by the appointment of Tim Hughes as Priest-in-Charge at St Luke’s in the City Centre. Tim and Rachel and their family have had an enormously fruitful time at HTB in London and we look forward to seeing all that God has in store for them here in Birmingham in the years to come.” Bishop David. Please hold them in your prayers as they settle into Birmingham life this Easter.

Mark and Jess Poyner
Mark and Jess are delighted that baby Joshua has been discharged from hospital and is doing well.  Jess writes ” We are so grateful for everyone’s prayers and support over the last eight weeks”.  Please contiune to pray for them as they adjust to life as a family.

Kay Fitzgerald
Pray for Kay following a spell in hospital..

Bob and Pam Kimmins
Pray for Bob and Pam who are both struggling with painful mobility problems. Please pray that an MRI scan appointment needed for diagnosis would come through soon.

Ruth Spalton (102yrs)
Ruth is increasingly frail. Pray that she will know the Lord’s presence with her.

Joan Benham
Pray for Joan struggling with severe mobility problems.

Caroline Gilmore-White
Since November Caroline has been having tests for Motor Neurone disease. She had a further test on 23rd January and a consultant’s appointment in February. Her family are in shock. Please pray for God’s peace and adjustment for them and that they will get God’s perspective on things, especially for Caroline’s elderly father.  Caroline says, ‘I thank St John’s church family more than I can say for the amazing support, love and encouragement I have received so freely and generously.’ John 17.22-24

Alpha Guests
Give thanks for a good meeting between Alpha Guests from the Autumn Alpha course and our Home-Group leaders on 6th Jan. Pray for the eight guests who would like to join homegroups that they would settle in well.

Mark Watson
Pray for Mark as he settles into his new role as our Youth Pastor and as he meets up with the many youth volunteers.

Pray for Doreen following a recent operation

Laurie Deimel

Bernie Barber (sister-in-law of Ginny Cornish)
Pray for Bernie following a diagnosis with bilateral ovarian cancer. At present it is thought that these are new primary cancers and not spread from her knee sarcoma which she had removed just six months ago.

Richard Kent

Audrey Grey (sister of Irene Elias)
Pray for Audrey who is seriously ill. She was widowed last December and now finds that she has an advanced cancer.

Carers Pray for those in our church family who take care of others.

Housebound members of our our fellowship, and those in Nursing Homes.

Pray for Church members no longer able to attend.
