Thursday 18th December
Midweek Holy Communion. Pray for all who attend this service,  for the older members of our community, that they would meet with God and enjoy a growing sense of community.

Saturday 20th December
Healing on the Streets
Pray that God’s healing power would be at work amongst all who are prayed for today.

Carol Singing on the High Street Pray for the Good News of Christmas time to be enjoyed by all who hear the carol singing from 11am.

Sunday 21st December
Family Carol Service
‘Let there be light’ and Evening Carol Service ‘Light and life to all He brings’
Pray that God would be present in power and might at both of these services. Pray for all those who visit church for the first time today that they would understand the light that Jesus brings this Christmas time. Pray for Ruth as she speaks in the evening.

Tuesday 23rd December
The Healing Prayer Centre Pray for all those who come for prayer at The Crossway and for wisdom for the team.

Wednesday 24th DecemberChristmas Eve
Christingle Services ‘This little light of mine’ Pray for all involved in these services and the many visitors who will enter our church today.

Midnight Communion ‘Love’s pure light’ Pray for Antony as he leads this service, for Ruth as she speaks and for all who join them as they celebrate the Good News of Christmas Day.

Thursday 25th DecemberChristmas Day
‘Let it shine’
Pray that our services this morning would reflect the light that the birth of Jesus Christ brought into this world.

Sunday 28th December Pray for our service today, that God would be present in power and might. Pray for Antony and Steve as they lead the service.

Thursday 1st January
Pray that 2015 would be a year of peace and love. Pray that throughout 2015 we would be fruitful disciples – looking and learning from Jesus.

Saturday 3rd January
Healing on the Streets Pray that God’s healing power would be at work amongst all who are prayed for today.

Sunday 4th January
Pray for our services today, that God would be present in power and might throughout the day. Pray for the Canvas Team and for Ruth as she speaks.

Monday 5th January
Start the Month
Pray for Mark and others as they meet to seek God before work this morning.

Monday Guiding groups Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers meet this evening. Pray for a warm welcome, laughter, growing confidence and knowledge for each girl who comes along.

Tuesday 6th January
The Healing Prayer Centre
Pray for all those who come for prayer at The Crossway and for wisdom for the team.

Wednesday 7th January
Arise
meets for prayer, praise and breakfast this morning. Pray that all who attend would hear God’s voice.

Alpha Follow-up Pray for all those meeting together this evening following the Alpha course last term.

Sanctuary “Looking ahead, looking to Jesus” an evening of prayer and worship.

Thursday 8th January
Just An Hour meets to pray and intercede for the church. Pray that God will speak to those present and reveal his purposes for St John’s.

CAMEO Pray for the international ladies as they meet together this morning to bake chocolate cake!

Not Getting Any Younger! Pray for all those attending this meeting (which is full!) that it will be a valuable time of reflecting on some of the issues of older age and what the Bible says about them.

Harborne Men’s Group Give thanks to God for all who attend this meeting and pray that they would be encouraged and inspired through their time spent together.

Midway Pray for the ladies as they meet together and for Ruth Elphinston as she speaks.

Freedom Course. Pray for Antony and his team. Pray for all who attend that they would gain skills and weapons for a lifetime of freedom.

Authentic Revolution Pray for Mark Watson as he takes up his position as Youth Pastor, Pray for the youth as they meet this evening, for deepening fellowship and ears to hear God speak to each of them.
