‘Let us proclaim the name of Jesus’ – Good Friday in Harborne

Margaret Decker reports on the Prayer Walk on Good Friday morning:

“Between 30-40 people took part in a Prayer Walk along roads in St John’s parish.

“The walk started at St John’s car park at 9am and stopped at Princes Corner; Moor Pool Hall, The Circle; Moor Pool, Ravenhurst Rd; and the Green Area by Nursery Rd.

“At each place that we stopped we sang a hymn/chorus, read a short passage of Scripture and prayed. Some people joined in along the route. The walk ended on the High Street where many people had gathered from all the churches in Harborne for a Service of Witness to the events of the first Good Friday.”
