A busy week ahead – prayer needed

Saturday 26th April
Teaching Day with Russ Parker: Pray for our church community as we spend time focusing on the healing of hurts; and the renewal and moving forward of our church family.

Friday 25th – Sunday 27th April
Pray for Pathfinders who are away on their weekend at Bell Heath. Pray for the leaders and all the young people who attend for fun, fellowship and amazing encounters with God.

Sunday 27th April
Pray for God to be present in power and might at all our services. Pray for Ruth and Bishop Andrew as they speak.  Pray for God to meet with our children in their groups.

Monday 28th April
Drop in the over 70s meets at The Crossway this morning. Pray for fellowship and encouragement for those who attend. Also for Catriona and the team.

Monday Guiding groups Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers meet this evening after the Easter break. Pray for a warm welcome, laughter, growing confidence and knowledge for each girl who comes along.

Tuesday 29th- Wednesday 30th April

St John’s Toddler Group
Pray for Beccy and her team as they open the doors to hundreds of Toddlers, Mums, Dads, Carers and Grandparents from 9.30 till 11.30am each day.
Pray for fun, enthusiasm, safety and most importantly building of relationships and friendships.

Tuesday 29th April
The Healing Prayer Centre Pray for all those who come for prayer at The Crossway and for wisdom for the team.

Welfare Benefits Advice at The Crossway from 10am-1pm. Pray for the Citizens Advice Bureau advisor and those who come along for help. Pray also for the work of the Debt Support Team.

Wednesday 30th April
APCM Pray for Bishop Andrew as he chairs this meeting and for all the decisions made. Pray for our new PCC and Deanery Synod members as they are elected.

Thursday 1st May
Men’s Group, CAMEO, Pilgrim’s Progress, and Just(an)other Hour all meet at Church this morning.
Harborne Men’s Group Pray for warm fellowship over coffee, worship and teaching.

Cameo for International Women  Pray for the ladies as they have fun baking and sharing fellowship. Pray for new ladies to be welcomed to the group.

Pilgrim’s Progress Pray for all the participants on this course that they would feel able to hold open and honest discussions.

Just An(other)Hour meets to pray and intercede for the church. Pray that God will speak to those present and reveal his purposes for St John’s.

Friday 2nd May
Friday Night Club Pra
y for all the youth from our community that attend this evening. Pray that lots of fun would be had and that they would take away with them the truths spoken over them during the ‘half time’ talk.

Friday 2nd-Monday 5th May
St John’s Guide units
and others from Quinton, Macclesfield and Stafford are camping at Milldale in Cheshire.  Numbers stand at 45 Guides, 8 Rangers and 20 Adults.
Pray for fun, friendship and safety; and that leaders and girls alike will learn more about God and his love for them at our ‘Guides Own’ on Monday.

Saturday 3rd
Healing on the Streets
Pray for God to be present in power when the team pray for those who come along on the High Street.

Sunday 4th May
Pray for God to be present in power and might at all our services. Pray for those who are leading our Canvas service, and for Adele, Fiona and Bob as they speak at our services.
